Would this not get you off any naturally-grown drug related charge?
My interpretation is that the court upholds the law of the land, which in turn makes you swear upon a bible to tell the truth, thereby acknowledging that God is all-powerful.
Now, surely a court can't be saying that it's more powerful than God, or that God got the whole bible right, except the bit about the drugs, which they've decided to ignore? As far as I was aware, the other commandments are all still law - thou shalt not kill and all that?! So, assuming that whatever was in the bible is to be taken as a way of living, it seems like we've all been given permission to use whatever we find growing naturally!
I'd love to see someone stand up in court and actually try this, it's almost worth me getting done for possession just to see if I could make this one swing...

Tongue in cheek answer? Go for it! Realistically? You don't have to swear on the bible, or any other holy book, in court. Commandments being law? Nope, you're free to covet whatever you like, you're allowed to commit adultery, worship false idols, disrespect your mother and father, the list goes on...
