By posting your mobile number I now know where you work and what you do. I had a look at your company's website and they need to fix it. Black text running into a black background is quite hard to read.
The chances of getting someone to play with you tonight are almost zero, for a few of reasons:
1) You are sub. You aren't the only one.
2) You have made no attempt to get to know people.
3) Your profile has the advantage of not being shit because you haven't put anything on it. Though, by not having put anything on it, and asking for playmates you do come across as an opportunist.
Assuming someone contacted you for play, were you going to use one of the properties your employer is selling/letting to play in?

Much though I can't abide the kind of idiocy exposed her, bohnanza - don't you think it would have been better for the moron if you'd sent that as a memo? Or did he really deserve this outing? Best to you. ETA - or you could have replied to his weblog, pointing this out - if you wanted to inflict ritual humiliation AND be sure you'd made him aware. ETA (again) - my mistake: I see he's only allowing replies by memo anyway. Patience is bitter - but its fruit is sweet. Edited 18 Feb 10, 6:30 PM by Belasarius

While I agree that a public response may seem harsh, it could be beneficial to show anyone else who was thinking of doing the same thing the error of their ways. A wise-man once told me never to trust anything a wise-man tells you.

Precisely. Sending a memo wouldn't work as he hasn't signed in for two hours. By doing it this way he can see it without needing to sign in. I haven't mentioned his number or his employer, so the deleting of the weblog should preserve his anonymity, as long as he does it before Google next has a quick peek in here, which, going by cached pages, may be tomorrow. It gets worse...if you look at the Main Page as a guest, his is one of the featured blogs and his number is showing right there on the front, without even having to click on his link or enter the site...perhaps someone should text him and tell him to hide his blog asap? ETA...I ain't doing it myself because I'm a bit neurotically protective of my number... "I see the shooting stars falling through your trembling hands..." I think anyone who's brave / stupid enough to openly advertise their number has already risk-assessed the options thereafter. If so / if not, they deserve the consequences either way. The public 'name and shame' is harsh, but warranted I think, and certainly should act as a warning to any others that while it might be seen as acceptable in some circles, it seems being that *insert word here* desperate? *insert word here* isn't cool. I think he knows what he's doing, he might get the night of his life, he might not. This one might well get filed under the "seemed like a good idea at the time" heading though! Sum Quod Sum

He looks a good looking lad, Id laugh if he got some instant action with a hottie. Not many can do that around here...

It would if he gets notification by email that there is a memo waiting for him. If he is looking for someone to play tonight then he may well be watching for memos that way. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
