It cant be as bad as spending a few hours in a student pub.

My fear is that I have no one to talk to and due to lack of exercise when I do talk to someone I have nothing to say.

Very scared of rejection.

In my early stages of delving into the BDSM scene I ventured into a munch. I was nervous I admit, but that was partly because I was unsure about my interaction with BDSM generally.

I am glad I went, as it dispelled some of my preconceptions (I found that people were on the whole pretty friendly, but I was - perhaps naively - surprised at some of the overt role playing that occurred in a supposedly vanilla environment) but I decided that munches and the BDSM scene were not for me.

I can see why they are enjoyable/useful to the majority, but one size does not fit all - and actually I see that as a positive thing.
