As I was a-wandering through the gloomy forests of IC Land, I happened to notice that a lot of blogs I'd like to re-read (for a variety of reasons) are now hidden. Now, this is something I've done with relentless fervour myself in the past...but I've had a complete about-face in my opinions on hidden blogs. I've realised that there is something kind of sad about trying to wipe out sections of my life by secreting my words away.
So, I'm gonna unhide them all. Now here's the thing:

Oh what a disappointment - it's just about blogs; no pics  . Your subject title is carefully chosen to lure people in isn't it.

Yeah, I know...Mine were hidden because I felt vulnerable and ashamed...but where I'm at now is that I need to face up to my past. And hiding blogs can mean that the truth is consistently unrevealed, which may be to the detriment of others, who knows? Also, I would rather those who I care about know everything about me, then there won't ever be any nasty lil surprises... "I see the shooting stars falling through your trembling hands..." | |||

I can assure you that reading them would not make it any clearer LOL! I said something; left a chink; people (who I'm sure felt their reasons were valid) waded in; I learned that so much can be read into so little...and I altered my style. Or at least I learned that if I post, there may be consequences; which if I'm not prepared to take I musn't post.
Now....if I could show you the unwritten, step awaaaaay from the keyboard blogs...that would be...interesssssting.

I have not only hidden mine I have deleted them to nothing but a '.' I wish I hadn't, as I would love to be able to re read them now I am in a different place. RD xx It is not what you say or do but the way you say or do it |
