yes you hurt me

yes I was down

but now I know some truths

and you cant do it to me anymore

as the sun rises tomorrow

and starts a new day

I start a new chapter

without you to hurt me any more

tomorrow I start to be me again

tomorrow I survive you

in the knowledge that what I felt was true

and what you felt was a lie
