As some of you might know from the festival web site www.japaneseropebondage.co.uk we have Konoko Hajime performing and teaching at this year's event. If you haven't heard of him yet, you will. This guy is set to be the next big name out of Japan according to Osada Steve. He was inspired by Akechi Denki himself, who performed from time to time at his club, but also brings shibari into the future with his spectacular rock style 'neo-shibari' shows.
He will be teaching short workshops and doing some stage shows at the festival but the lucky few will have the opportunity of a two and a half hour master class (limited to 6 couples). The first has already sold out but I have persuaded him to do a second class from 10:30-13:00 on Fri 2 April. This is not to be missed as you won't get an opportunity like this unless you go to Japan for lessons, like I have to.
