Probably my fave music to play to is Afrocelt Soundsystem's "Release". Sounds terrible when you describe it - Celtic electro-folk filtered through African beats, but it *really* works, and its hypnotic waxing and waning is incredibly sensual and erotic.

Afro Celt Sound System - excellent choice. Saw them live a few years ago and it works beautifully in a scene. Although many of the other suggestions are good too.

I don't normally hear what's going on around me so music is not in my thoughts, however, one quiet Saturday AM no kids around, I decided she needed a little flogging. Radio playing in the background (Arrow Rock) and one of my favourite tunes came on and I found myself flogging her in time to Teenage Kicks by The Undertones. Discovered it has a very good beat (pun intended naturally)

I have to add my two pennies here and suggest Leave a Scar by Marilyn Manson. "If you're not afraid of getting hurt, then I'm not afraid of how much I hurt you" is one line that springs to mind.

Fantastic, sleazy beat, too. Ideal for a nice slow, dirty warm up.
