There will be an informal meeting for people interested in O&P, D/s or M/s relationships on Saturday 6th March 2010 in central Manchester. The meeting will be from 1pm to 5pm, with an open round-table discussion about suggested topics starting at 2pm.

The meeting will be in the downstairs function room of The Vine Inn, 42-46 Kennedy St, Manchester, M2 4BQ. There will be a meal in a nearby Pizza Express restaurant afterwards: please memo me if you're interested so we can amend the table reservation as necessary.

It's easiest to find the Vine Inn starting from the junction of Princess St and Cooper St. The Waterhouse pub is on that corner, opposite the Tourist Information centre in the Town Hall. The Waterhouse has a back entrance on Kennedy St, so just walk down Cooper St and follow the wall of the pub left onto Kennedy St. Next door is the City Arms, and next to that is the Vine Inn. Both of these are period pubs with green tiled frontages. The steps down to the Vine's function room are just inside the door, on your right. Just ask for the private function if in doubt.

Ideas for topics for the discussion part (even if you're not intending to come) are very welcome. Please use this new thread for that, or suggest them by memo. (The original thread has a bit more background too.)

I rarely come into Manchester, so can I ask some locals to suggest the best stop for rail (Piccadilly or Oxford Road) or am I better off just driving?

We hope to make it over, and may stay for the meal too (I'm assuming this will be an early evening meal straight after the meeting?)

Yes, getting there about 6pm hopefully, which gives us time to move venues. I'm going to scout some candidates this weekend.
