I logged in to my 'nilla' email account yesterday and came across a new feature in gmail called Google Buzz. My email box has now gone all Twittery. If I wanted that I would have signed up to Twitter (although I am on Twit under my IC name) People can now follow me and I can follow them and other things. Slightly web 2.0 ish and annoying, just got to figure out what the upside and downside is.

Or am I just old fashioned? Too control freakery?

If you have gmail and your not keen, scroll right to the bottom of the page where it says privacy policy and all that, Turn buzz on, turn buzz off. At least they have made that simple…

Yes, last week, when the news came, google would create its own twitter, they would disclaim it violently! As always. Here we go! :-)

I don't have a Gmail account and never will - oh hang on, Virgin just turned all their mail system into Gmail accounts and are storing copies of all mail indefinitely by default. Time to scrap my Virgin accounts.

cheers
