What they both said...huge thanks to Jahc99 and May_Thorn for their hospitality and to chartreuse for the yummy cheese straws. Sorry to miss out on heel-turning with american_girl and that others who wanted to come along couldn't be there, but it was a marvellous turn out, including lots of new faces. Thanks everyone for a fun evening. Some very interesting wood turning samples were brought along, and there was a whole lot of cross-stitching, knitting, binding and noisy hammering going on last night. Hope we didn't scare the Clangers too much. I'm still following up a lead on a venue and date for our next crafty munch....so I'll let you know the results of deliberations when I do. ~~~

Thanks all - very much enjoyed that, great suff. We'd happily host another one sometime, and maybe get rather more crafty stuff done! Many thanks to Imagination for all his help over recent months, He most Trouserless for the rig, which will get a testing out very soon, and well, to all of you, bloody great bunch of people, you are all most welcome. We enjoyed ourselves and had a very relaxing, funfilled evening. Those cheese straws were fantastic! David didn't get much crafting done but had a good time, whilst I actually managed to knit for once. Many thanks to Jahc and May for a wonderful evening.
