Its so comforting to know as well serena that someone such as yourself, who throws such negative, derogatory comments about, such as 'your mental' works with people in such a vulnerable state.
Bet that helps your service users no end!
| below the belt my darling!! but if it makes you happy to point this out publicly then go ahead.. drug use is drug use.. I am sorry you lost your brother that way, I too have been through the same thing over and over.. I can't even remember how many funerals I have attended as a result of drug addiction. so yes I stand by what I said people that take drugs are ,in MY opinion.. mental . No idea why someone would introduce an illegal substance in to their lifes that could effect them negatively for years, I not even talking aoout death .. Im talking about mental health issues .. very damaging

oh behave serena,ok the heavy drugs maybe, but no way is a person who works hard all week, and enjoys the odd joint(shit stuff morethan skunk)at the weekend,to wound down a addict, its probably less damaging than someone who necks a bottle of wine or 2.
You will probably have lots of friends/family members who have dabbled over the years, and still do,but you will never know.

I am with serena on this.
When you have been battered and your child has been battered due to someone's paranoia from the so called odd joint at the weekend.
I understand not everyone is like this and i wouldn't preach to others this is my experience.
I did a midnight bunk with my child for both our safety.
When you live with it day in day out from someone who only started from a weekend odd joint you see it from a different side.

Ok thats a fair point,if you have seen that side of drug abuse i can at least understand why you would be so anti drugs, some people are pricks when straight,so they are bigger pricks when wrecked. But i know without doubt a lot dont act like that, some of the worst tools i know are anti drugs but piss heads, with no self control at all. |

You ever think this someones paranoia was always there and it could've been any number of catalysts that could've sent him more mental?
(ETA - this next sentence wasn't aimed at anyone directly, but more to those that adopt the black and white views on drugs and ignore the grey areas)
To preach that all drugs are bad and anyone that uses them is mental is pretty naive and narrow minded to me. Depression is really just anger without enthusiasm.

I am not anti drugs addicts at all.
And not all drugs are baaaad.
I just dont like the way people think its cool and the mary poppins outlook on it.
They wreck your home life i've had numerous friends die from drug overdoses.
I just think people need to see both sides and one of the nicest things that has happened to me in my career was the kindness from a drug addict |
