There isn't enough salt in the sea to provide the 'pinch' with which you'd need to take astrology.

The gullible are always with us and hence the charlatans continue to make a living.

My apologies to all Scorpios for last week's misprint, the result of a transcription error. The entry should have read 'fantastic luck ahead' and not as it appeared. Thank you for all those who wrote in. Both the offended and the disappointed.

hahahaha

My Dad had a Zodiac. It was a brilliant car but I don't think it had a sign on it.

Well ... I sort of know what you mean. I'm no follower of the stars myself, but I guess it's a relatively harmless irrational belief, and if it makes some people happy and gives them a structure to interpret their life which is beneficial, then I suppose that's fine. If it leads people into misery and despsir after too many false hopes which fail to materialise, then that would be a different matter.

A Christian making patronising comments about 'irrational beliefs'? Well colour me amused.

Ha. I wondered if I might get a reply along those lines. Don;t want to distrtact the thread too much. Perhaps I should have said "non-rational" which sounds less judgemental. I believe lots of discourse is not rational in a narrow sense but still has a value and legitimacy.

(ETA - what's this doing in the D/s & M/s board?)

Astrology is a belief in something for which there is no evidence. Whereas religion is a belief in something for which there is no evidence. Ohhhh.

I didn't mean any disrespect with this thread. I was just curious. I am a Pieces :) and I like to dominate :)

I was joking... its ok.. we know pisceans do not have a sense of humour.... ;-)

Oi, fuck off! Pisceans DO know how to have a laugh! We're funny as hell, goddamnit. ;)

(and I like to switch, btw)

As to the new sign, it says I'm an Aquarius - dunno what that means for me, but Pisces always described me pretty well, so I'm sticking with it.

I concur I'm dominant and Pisces and Do have a seance of humour, although i think aquaris sums me up a bit better than pisces especaily the part about picses being easily led.

:-D

So is love.

Except there is scientific reproducible evidence for the existence of love.
