It's not funny!
I read that, and was hypnotised into thinking I was in Tanos' room It's horrible in here....the pink floral curtains clash with the carpet, this sideboard hasn't seen a duster in weeks, and there's nowhere to sit with all the care-bears on the furniture. Tovarich is a combination of frothy comedy with bitter political undertones.- googlism

I got sweaty hands from looking at trango's nameless tower this morning - does that count? "No, I'm not going to climb that . All of these ropes and gear are to tie up your wife and daughter." — Jeff Batten.

I'm with OwnTune on this one. I first started out doing past life regression on friends as a hobby nearly fifteen years ago. I'm predominantly Atheist so am very sceptical about the idea of life-after-death-after-life claims, but the results were always very interesting. It's absolutely amazing that a person's mind can come up with so much, whether or not it's "real". Physical changes through hypnosis also intrigue me, just as the placebo effect can do astonishing things. The whole thing is fascinating.
As for that site, I agree with Susannah - pink text on a black background and quasi-spiritual flashing gifs... Ugh! Reminds me of this!

A few years back, I had a subject for a session. I thought it went well. He thought it went well. Off he goes home. But over the next few days, he began to phone. He wanted assurances that he was out of hypnosis. Could he still be in a trance, he asked? He said he felt off, lethargic. This was worrying to both of us as his job involved him climbing ladders. I had never, and have never since, had this before. And there was nothing about his session, even though it had gone on over three or four hours, to explain why he'd be feeling this way. The hypnosis had been for feminisation. But the symptons he was reporting weren't mincing steps and lisping talk. Just fatigue. He sounded unconvinced as he ended the call. But he lives miles away and there wasn't much more I could do apart from re-assure him. The calls got more desparate. He was thinking of visiting a proper "clinical hypnotherapist", maybe they could help him. I reminded him I am a clinical hypnotherapist. I just choose to specialise in erotic hypnosis. I didn't mind him going to see a "kosher" hypnotherapist for a session to put him to rights. But I advised him that the prejudice towards erotic hypnosis and recreational hypnosis by professional hypnotherapists is so rife, that if there was nothing wrong with him when he walked in, he'd be convinced that his session with me would have exposed him to all sorts. In short, they would add to his panic. But the choice was his, if it would make him feel better. Then I heard nothing for about a week. I wondered if he had gone to see another therapist. Then I got another call from him. He was apologising profusely. That week he'd been feeling down, he'd since come to realise that what he had was a virus. A good old fashioned cold, flu, virus thingy. Hence he'd been feeling out of sorts. It was good of him to come back and let me know and confirm, like one of the earlier contributors to this thread said, it is merely a tale of two co-incidences. In Rainbow's case, it probably was just the colour scheme and graphics and you focusing on it for too long that brought on a head-ache. Having said that, there are a couple of hypnodommes with a reputation for planting a trigger in their subjects that causes them to develop a head-ache if they listen to a competitor's work. This is common in those too good to be true freebie recordings that some hand out like candy to gullible school kids. There've been complaints from men who were affected by this, especially if they hadn't been aware such a trigger had been planted in the first place. A common practice amongst the subjects that have seen it all and heard it all and know what is possible, is to do a "cold listen", wide awake, to make sure there are no suggestions they wouldn't want to fall for. For any one concerned, here are links to a couple of safety recordings. Of the first, Nikki Fatale has this to say: For those who may be interested here is a session that will allow you to dismiss triggers and suggestions that may be undesirable to you. http://www.box.net/shared/h4xcp1o844 The second is a Lady Julia, who, like Nikki, has a good, safe reputation. http://www.ladyjulia.net/safetynet.html Best wishes, Cleo My site: http://www.queencleopatra.co.uk |
