Ditto.

Yep. Online hypno does work. But it tends to require both expectation and desire to be put under.

An "accidental visit" leading to some sort of genuine hypnotic experience might be indicative of other mental health probs that the OP might wish to get checked out. Basically, do not go near any time share salespeople until you have understood a great deal more about your desire to conform.

Alternatively, perhaps the OP was looking a bit harder than they let on. A lot of online routines use various combinations of repetitive pattern and script. Often a spiral - and just staring at a spiral for a period of time can give you a headache.

Hypnosis won't make your head hurt..... nor will you be able to be put under unless you actually want to (subconciously or not).

I suggest you're coming down with a head cold. Have some soup and a lemsip.

What they said! ^

And staring too hard at one of those spinning spiral Flashplayer graphics - or anything else, for that matter - will certainly give you a headache! Hypnosis isn't magic. Despite all the theatrical frills we (and I include myself in this too) dress it up with, it is something that is entirely based on a person's own belief that they are hypnotised. Consent still applies, as with other types of BDSM. I would agree that you should do a bit of research into how it *really* works, and it should give you peace of mind.

As above...how the hell do you 'accidentally' visit an erotic hypnosis site???

the internet is such a dangerous place.

What we're missing here is the link to the site so that we can all experiment and report back on the likelihood of it being hypnosis or just a headache. Clinical trials are the only way to know.

Was there any horrible and garish colours on the site designed to hypnotise you, but failed and just gave you a headache instead?

I always behave. I just don't specify how.

My first thought was that all the blood rushed from your head to elsewhere (ahem) causing your brain to be temporarily starved of oxygen.

However because of such a powerful experience you may have anchored your headache to surfing the internet although I can't see it lasting all this time. If that's the case you'd need to break the association.

If your headache persists despite painkillers, consult your GP.

have no fear, it wasn't really a hypnotic website, it was a political discussion programme. Many people suffer lingering after effects following exposure to establishment brainwashing attempts.

Well, on the page was a little animated icon that changed colours so may it was that.
