I love having my long hair brushed and there is nothing like a top quality old fashioned Mason & Pearson brush – the other side has its uses too… a bit of a sting but very nice!!

Why is there this expectation for women over 30 or so to cut their hair short? Also, when I was pregnant everyone expected me to cut my hair, and were visibly surprised that I didn't, I bleached it Pamela Anderson blonde (but that is another story). If you watch those makeover programmes they always always, without fail chop the hair. It's the weirdest thing.

I'm going to have long hair forever. A purple dress, a red hat and long white hair.

I could never have short hair but since I was about 10 I've wanted mine to grow very long and I've never managed it (never tried hair extensions either or a wig). But I do think women usually look better with long hair and as is said above it gives a dominant man something to hold on to.....

I didnt bother .. i do miss it at times .. i was not allowed to wear makeup, nail varnish or heels too.. he said I needed to love myself .. for who I was not all the hair and makeup.

And submitting when it's easy and only conditionally isn't really the point of it although I hope I never end up with someone who wants me to look awful.

We haev some women in the Bretheren near us who always look so cute, head scarves, all blonde, long skirts, hair down to their bottoms, 12 children - like something off Little House on the Prairie and I suppose also all the sikh women with their gorgeous long never cut hair too. Lots of long hair about. Mine would never ever grow very long whether regularly cut or left.
