I've done the usual washing and setting for a girlfriend, plus played with her hair, putting it up, kissed it etc. How have you used long hair in BDSM?

Oh yes, pigtails Twisted Monk and this site have some hairbondage tips that're really easy and look quite pretty (especially if you did them with ribbon or thin cord. You know they say it's always the quiet ones you have to watch? That's me.

I use mine of vey sensitive bodies. 32" of long soft hair does things to a naked sub. "If no sexual offence is being committed it seems very odd indeed that there should be an offence for having an image of something which was not an offence," Lord Wallace of Tankerness

Mine is past ma bum now, I've used it for light whipping on occasion although a mis judged blow and I end up just yanking my own hair which all in all makes one feel a bit silly. Of course using it for sensitive play is lovely. I've also wrapped it round a subs throat before... the idea came when someone else at a party playfully wrapped it round my own throat and kissed me! ooh gone all weak-knee'd thinking about it now.
So yes, hair... yum. If you've got it... and all that

My hair is dark brown and waist length. It's my mane and I love it

I can be as much a victim of my hair as anything else, but I still wouldn't cut it off. My hair is currently to the top of my thighs and it's pretty thick. It does work well as a sensual tool and as a built-in bondage device. There are quite a number of styles the extra length lends itself to (albeit others I can't wear because it's just too bulky or heavy for them.) On the downside, I do have a tendency to catch it in doors, trap myself if I lie on it, etc. Strangers somehow think it's okay to walk up to me and touch it. Other's think it's okay to ask me if I belong to some weird religious sect, or tell me they don't find it to be age-appropriate. Because my hair is also thick, it's almost impossible for me to find pretty hair baubles that will hold it, and it loves to work itself into impossible tangles. And oh the horrid places stray, loose hairs can travel to! Ugh. But overall, it's worth the effort. love the brave but avoid cowards, knowing the gratitude of cowards is small ~Praxilla of Sicyon

Why is there this expectation for women over 30 or so to cut their hair short? Also, when I was pregnant everyone expected me to cut my hair, and were visibly surprised that I didn't, I bleached it Pamela Anderson blonde (but that is another story). If you watch those makeover programmes they always always, without fail chop the hair. It's the weirdest thing. I'm going to have long hair forever. A purple dress, a red hat and long white hair. Long hair is great.... Love it! to play with, hold, pull and stroke.... and completely agree with the sentiment about Women over 30 having to cut their hair... WHY??? All about what suits the individual..

I've heard that from friends and the media to. I sit and yawn at them, it's like there's an unwritten rule that you should cut your hair when you get over 30. What a load of TOSH!!! They're only jealous!!! I'm never ever cutting my hair either, in fact I'm growing it longer
