This post is on the Rochester (ME) topics page and the BDSM Events web board.

As there's several events now for under 35's would people be interested in a munch for the over 30's.

If ageisum can work one way I'm sure it can work the other also.

The munch would be within the Kent area.

Sounds like a good plan, glad all the older people will have somewhere to go without all the youngsters bothering them. :)

Can I just point out as the organiser of one of the U35s you're talking about, in defence of what I've set up it's specifically designed to avoid being ageist. It's called the Ubiquitous 35 and we do have quite a few people who are over 35 who regularly attend.

The point was to make it a young at heart event, rather than a strict cut off point because we all mature, change and are ready to move to new things at different ages. No two people are identical after all...

I personally am very against munches that have a strict cut off - whatever form they may take. Which is why I put the U35 Munch concept together in the first place...

Kisses to all you fabioso people!

Well i can see some great points on all sides there .

Yonger person may well be looking for something diffrent to what an older person is looking for . As r0uge was pointing out. I no of maybe at least five U35 munchs up and down country now.

I would love be young enuff still atened U35 munch but being past my prime all over for me now. Maybe i am over the hill now all down hill lol .

I see no problem if people on scene can have u35 for younger member why not ? O/30s munch for people old and past it like my self . In time every one can come join in the party as you get older . But 30 maybe just say older at heart munch rather that give name give it a number . dont what leave any one out .

I am intrested what others think ? i would be up for backing this as well

Or maybe we could have some intelligent kinky conversation without all the giggling ;).

Would you have the same sort of rule as most of the U35's? You can attend if you are under 30 but you have to be escorted by someone over 30 :-).

I like the variety of people you get at a Munch and whilst I'd probably attend an O30 Munch out of principle, I'd miss the energy and naivety that the youngsters bring ;).

I don't know what's right and what's real any more

I think it's not a good idea. The under 35 munches may be ageist by definition but not by intent. Their purpose is not to exclude but to provide a venue for like minded people.

Personally I can see a need for the under 35 munches but not so much for an over 30. Perhaps Saga already have them, worth a look before you get too far along.

Yes and then you'd invite us and say it doesn't matter but we wouldn't come because we "might feel out of place around so many old people" but we'd still carry on complaining that we're left out. ;)

I think that each one of us is looking for different things. Personality, lifestyle, etc, etc, have more to do with our preferences than age only.

And I think r0gue's munch would be a great idea.

I been both involved in both running and going to hundreds munches over years and welcome people 17 to 70 age never been problem every one has been welcome and on the hole had a good time .

But but last two year lot more young people have come in to the scene and would like there owen younger munches.

I am cool that free world.

I do think by putting to meany rules who can and can not come never i great idear .

If its ok to have u35 why not O30s

We are all looking for same stuff at end day but with difrent people .
