at least you say how prevelant this attitude is or do you think its reasonable for a sub to research the best in the country then approach regardless of distance.

Yes I do. I have skills that is shared by only a very few PDs. Clients *do* travel the country to see me.
You seem to have this idea that all PDs are the same. You are very very wrong. You underestimate our clients. They are not all the same, we are not all the same. Clients will travel a long way for their particular fantasies to be fulfilled by the right PD.
|
Are you saying all subs behave in this manner?
I have not said all PD's are the same, hence I said I would research half a dozen locally.
Maybe you should put this in your signature as your theme tune.

That must have been on a different board, surely? Because all I've ever seen is the exact opposite happening, ie, you being put out to dry intellectually, often by Doghouse_Reilly, and too many times to mention.

lol thats rich, please eplain to me again why Lilly allen is an intellectual? How many peer reveiwed papers has she published?
do you really think you are an expert judge in these matters?
|
Wow. It's like you're going for some sort of world record for how far you can throw your toys out of the pram. Do you measure how high they go or how far they land from the pram itself to get the score? Does it count if the toy bounces? Do bears bounce?
|
I'm sure they bounce higher than socialists thrown down Chilian mine shafts. |

Absolutely agreed. I have people travel from Yorkshire, Scotland etc to see me because they want to submit to me and my particular style of Domination which is not shared by Dommes in their area.
Of course, you would try to find someone you didn't have to travel to the ends of the earth for.... but as LAB says, not all PDs are the same - in fact we're incredibly individualistic!
|
I didn't say they were all the same. Do you think someone in the London area could find a suitable match in the London area? Out of 100's of PD's?

Trolls are a a bit like squirrels. If you start feeding them they'll keep coming back for more. And while they may seem amusing at first them seem less so when they're found their way in to your attic and start chewing on the wiring.

seeing as my question/post was on topic and yours isn't may I suggest you stop trolling?

Quite probably but not always.
I ended up with the right domme when I was living in London and she was some 80 miles away. It all depends what you are looking for and, particularly, if there is a specialism
If I was into the AB scene I'd go somewhere very far north to see a certain domme who I reckon (from what I've seen and what I've read) would be the one to session with - both in how she is and the range of equipment available

Only four posts in a row Cookie? Looking to upgrade from troll to spammer?
Either way you asked your questions and got your answers so I don't know why you're still bumping this mess. “Some people never go crazy, What truly horrible lives they must live”

fair does but its not capitalism its markets, or monopolistic behaviour, which explains LAB's antipathy to local rivals(ie training a novice).
Fair enough, LAB cant be faulted for aiming for the best outcome, its what can happen though in an unregulated market/free market.
Of course its the sub thats likely to come of worse in these situations. Mind you a monopsony maket would beinteresting with few subs and lots of Dommes.
|
How is a sub likely to come off worse?
|
£300 lighter for starters
|
Maybe the next time we are both at the barn clockworknight, you would like to back up your ridiculous comments in person?
|
yeh or maybe i have better things to do than waste my time on you i can't think of anything to say here
so let pretend this says something really intelligent

I'd come down from that high horse if I were you.
