not sure how others feel, but i really feel like i have lost an old friend - a really good mate who understands me. I know my thinking should be readjusted but its hard - hard to live without someone after 25 years!!!

I assume your talking about cigaretttes and no you've not lost a good old friend, you've kicked out an abusive partner thats done nothing but hurt you and would have ended up killing you.

Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning how to dance in the rain.
I stopped smoking at 11pm on the 19/01/10 after 21 years of smoking after reading the Allen Carr's Easyway To Stop Smoking book

I have moments of feeling like I've lost my best friend to :( But I tell myself it was bad friend who didn't really love me, it wanted my money and life. I just think it takes a bit of time to get over that feeling but it will go. You're doing great Pinky keep going :-D

Hi Pinky I can and do feel for you sweet, but I have to agree with our fellow quiters, those little white stick are definatly not your friend, they are totaly the opposite, devious, non caring, confidence tricksters that have taken you to the cleaners and corupted your mind and body with no thought whatsoever for you, your well being or your sanity. You have made the break from them and they dont like it that you have a stronger mind and healthier out look and determination that you have told them NO MORE!!

You Have achieved absolute wonders, the offer of a chat should you ever need stands.

Hold on and beat them.

Hugz Phil xx
