The negotiations, even if you don't carry out the act itself, are hot.
I ALMOST got as far as doing it. I was made to advertise myself on another site (with a horribly whorish profile), out of the replies I received my then dom picked his favourite five and I was instructed to sell myself to the highest bidder. (He'd convinced me for a while that he was going to sell me to the oldest, grimmest, mouthbreather he could find which was not a pleasant thought and actually illicited a lot of tears and begging from me. I'm very proud about money so actually bartering with people, upping the price, asking for more money, was horrifically embarrassing and cringeworthy. And ergo, hot.
We got as far as arranging a place and time for the transaction to take place and I would absolutely have gone through with it but The Man and I went our seperate ways about a week before it was due to happen and, to me, it wasn't right to continue with it. I was being a whore for him, not because I wanted to be a whore.
As a humiliation and control tool, it's very effective and I have no doubt I'd do it again, within the right relationship.
