A very good metaphor for a munch. Or a meeting arranged through friends reunited (even worse than a munch).

There is a world of difference between a reunion of peolple who went to the same school or even the same class at school and meeting people whose only thing in common is that some of them went to school

And an hour's sing song isn't my idea of fun (unless some of the songs are like "The Mayor of Bayswater" (who had a pretty daughter) - all together now?
