I've always wanted to be taken into a woman's clothes shop and be made to try on a dress or skirt! Also, go to a make-up counter of a department store and have the member of staff put make-up on me. What girly things have you Dommes made a male sub do openly in public? | |

I'm not sure you'd be welcomed in some high street chain stores but if you can get a Domme to take you to LAM or LFF and "make you" try on some clothes at the stalls (with a view to buying so you're not annoying the stallholders by just wasting their time) I'm sure nobody would bat an eyelid. | |

The thing about public humiliation is it involves the public....who probably didn't decide when they woke up that morning to be a part of your sexual fantasy. I think theres a bit of a grey area between your right to dress/behave how you please vs the rights of others to not be involved when you do. When you go into a store and ask to try on a dress as a guy or ask someone to apply makeup to you at one of their counters who are you trying to humiliate? You or the person at the store? You might welcome feeling uncomfortable in public but thats not taking into account the store person. There should be nothing wrong with wanting to wear a dress as a male its just an item of clothing but obviously there is, because some people who do it feel humiliated so something is going on there. I suppose asking the store clerk gives them the opportunity to say no but in a customer service environment thats not always something you feel you can say.

i have on a number of occasions been shopping with a Mistress, and it was blatently obvious that the clothes i was buying were not for Her!!! On one occasion was wearing femme undies, including stockings and male over clothes and was made to try a pair of heels on in a shop!! | |

I was a trader at BBB for quite a while and fitted many a guy for dresses, skirts, tops, corsets. Generally lots of fun, and can be a challenge to get good fitting stuff that suits them. It's actually nice to work with people who actually want to look good and care about the clothing though, rather than someone who just wants to be put in a dress. In the high street, yes, I think I echo the point about other people's sensitivity. Often someone's reaction to other people's humiliation is embarrassment or humiliation themselves, I know that is true for me. There are ways around that... for example making a joke of it and involving any staff, even using the old 'fancy dress party' as a cover story. As long as the dynamic is known between you and the Domme, no-one else has to know that, even if they suspect. After all, the 'humiliation' is only how someone feels about themselves... one man's humilation is another man's 'shameless'. | |

Always a difficult one I find...you have to be careful who you actually end up humiliating.
My sub loves and hates (in equal measure) to be humiliated in public.
Sometimes it's just the tone or attitude I use that does the job.
Often if he's referred to as my boyfriend/husband I correct them and tell them "absolutely not..he's staff.!!!)

Being a TV I go into shops and buy womens clothes but except for shoes never try any on in the shops. Most sales assistants fine with men buying womens clothes and even trying it on if you've come in as a woman. Afterall a sale is a sale right? So not sure you would humiliate anyone but yourself in many places

Humiliation does not have to be about doing girly things in public. The availability of webcams means that one can often be humilaited by being seen. Such as choose to watch are obviuously volunteers which gets ovee the non-consensual participation poin. John John | |

Hmmm...i take your point, but i don't know if i agree. i was once one of those members of the public when i worked in a place that did ear piercing at the mall when i was younger (back in the pre-kink day), and a tv came in looking to get an ear piercing done. i will admit i was slightly caught off-guard, but no more so than dealing with any other person for whom protocol wasn't covered in retail 101. It was pretty obvious that the customer wasn't entirely comfortable with the situation so i tried to be as helpful as possible, and we both had a bit of a laugh about the odd situation. If anything, it brightened up my day!
Now, i do make allowances for the fact that this was in the States (we DID invent customer service, after all

), and maybe i was an exception to the rule, but i think most vanilla salespeople would just file it away under 'amusing experience at work' and leave it at that.
