Sort of related question - my experience of the valves on some of these things is that they stop working very enthusiastically and water seems to encourage them. Its not immediately obvious why you should need a special one (apart from that) what exactly are the issues? Glue? I had an inflatable rubber hood a few years ago which was great fun. sadly it didn't last very long and soon ripped. Not bothered to buy another as they're not cheap | |

Humm, have had a few inflatable rubber hoods in my time (says he sounding old again). DON'T get one without a zip! I nearly had something fatal happen once when wearing one and mistress couldn't get the thing off in a rush. Cocoon do some nice ones, the one I had from them had no eye holes, just breathing tubes. Worn with ear plugs, gives a feeling of total isolation. I used an electric compressor to inflate mine a few times and it did pump up very quickly, shockingly so in fact. I would have thought that something like a hyginsons enema syringe/pump thingy would work for pumping water into an inflatable hood. Not sure how well the hood will work afterwards, with just air, once it has got damp inside. | |

He has some good looking leather ones with an inflatable lining, as well as some pretty cool heavier rubber designs in development I looked at. I own both types, the hand pump one I have two versions of, one with just a mouth hole and the other with a breathing tube. I have recently acquired from my friends at D.Vote who advertise on here an inflatable ball hood, which you need an electric pump for. It is black with a red lining and is totally amazing I am just uploading a picture of a semi trans black version i was testing/ modelling at the Fetters Christmas Party. I seriously recommend them for sensory dep, heightened awarness of things and keeping you in the zone. I have to confess the though of filling it with water really turns me on. However I would be concerned out drying it out as there is no way to expose the inner layers to dry????? Sounds great though. xXx A Hood Loving DD xXx | |

An inflatable hood can be worn for a long time without any discomfort. i think it also depends on what type/make you are wearing. its best to steer clear of the cheapy ones from sex toy sites and ones you see regulary on ebay. As a rubber slave i am often put into an inflatable hood. The ones with plastic eyes are great for serving in and the ones without eyes and just a breathing tube are a great aid for focusing and punishment or for simply a moment of privacy for your Dominant. i have worn a sensory deprevation one for over 5 hours and i found this a mental challenge. The one with eyes i have worn for the duration of the day on more than one occasion depending upon my Dominants requirements. As mentioned allready on here i think the hoods from cocoon take some beating. Demask used to make good ones too. Good luck i hope You enjoy your hood, just dont panic iff you cant get it off! |
