I have just ordered an inflatable rubber hood with pepperpot eye holes. I have been intrigued by this item for a while now and eventually plucked up the courage to buy one. What is it like to wear one? How long do you think it can be worn for without causing great discomfort? I will be using the hood whilst in bondage so will have to rely on my partner to release me. Any experiences of using this item. Kind regards, Hugh

Why not... wait and find out. I know, it's a crazy plan; but it might just work. --- Ha!

Do you have a link to it? sounds like an interesting item It is not a case of finding the lifestyle or the lifestyle finding you, but realising the lifestyle is within you and letting it out!

Ooo hoo, you c-r-r-r-r-azy risk-taking BDSMers. Trying it out? I don't think so somehow. I know you mean well, but I really can't see such an idea catching on. * * *

From personal experience, pump up hoods can be a wonderful and very intense sensation. I was put in one once and it was then inflated with an electric pump, so that it inflated within a couple of seconds. That felt amazing. The feeling of pressure round my head, and touching the hood and feeling no shape to my face, only the roundness - it was all in all a pretty good thing! I also experienced the hood having water pumped into it (not sure how my partner had done that now, as it was a while back), and this was an incredible feeling, as I also had to hold up the weight of the hood with the water in, and the feeling of it sloshing around was quite intense. I highly recommend them. I dont have a quote so I'll leave this bit blank...........cos I dont want to use up space till I have something really good to put here

It was, but I'm afraid I really cant remember how he put the water in. It must have been a simple method, but worth it. Just having the added weight of the water means you really have to concentrate in keeping your head up, using your neck muscles.

One of my favourite toys.... except mine doesn't have eyeholes, just a breathing tube..... it concentrates the sub's mind wonderfully on sensation.... Maybe not for everyone, but once tried most love it. Great for all kinds of breath play too. In my experience no-one needs it taking off from a discomfort point of view, it is comfortable... you can hear through it - it just feels, inflated, like a pressure against your face, not hurty, adds to the feeling of powerlessness. Mine is not the big rubber ball type and although I'd quite like to try it filled with water I think the sensation (apart from the swooshing sound) would be the same, although that does sound awesome.... I be wondering how to get the water out completely and dry the inner lining. I love this piece of kit, mine has a zip back, easy on and off, from Cocoon (as was). xx

Several rubber manufacturers went through a phase of making "inflatable" hoods and catsuits which could be filled with either hot or cold water. I think it might have been Kastley? WeatherVain? Cocoon? I had a suit (which didn't last very long!) and the instructions suggested you lie in the bath while filling it. I always meant to try wearing it while lying on a waterbed, but never got round to it.
