I just posted this on a fast food websites feedback form...
"I should have learned before, but I was desperate for something quick to eat. 20 minutes wait in a drive in queue of three vehicles. Had to repeat order three times (what is so complicated about 2 large fries and a regular diet coke?). Fries arrived, one bag hot and the other cold as it happens. Bill is jaw dropping - nearly £5.
Your competitors can manage to deliver the "food" fast and hot for half the price.
I will never return. This is just the last in a chapter of rare visits out of desperation to ********** that consistently fail to satisfy.
Next time I am desperate for something to eat I will just get a bag of crisps from a petrol station."
I almost never complain to stores/"restaurants" about their failings, but tonight I even went to the trouble of finding their website - which is also shit in case you wondered. I would have rung them but "The number you have called is chargeable from mobile networks......"
Gaaaaaaaaahhhhhh and Pffffffftttttt to them.
I can't work out whether I am becoming a more militant shopper, or a grumpy old man, or maybe a bit of both

I wasn't going to name and shame, but seeing as my gripe with them is entirely factually based rather than libellous, I will reveal that the miserable failures were Burger King. The past is history, tomorrow is a mystery, the present is a gift. Edited 30 Jan 10, 10:44 PM by Visualize |
