My student loans came from the US. In the US you can claim back the interest you paid on your student loans on your taxes. I don't pay any taxes because I don't live there and I pay taxes in the UK. Now I'm sad because I can't get back the $2000+ in interest I spent. And I don't think I can claim it in this country. Boo hoo.
