...or more accurately we've accepted an offer on the house at the target value we wanted to achieve subject to contract.
As we all know, with English Law as it is, nothing is sure until contracts are exchanged but getting to this stage with the house only on the market for two weeks is very satisfying for us both. There's no chain either side so hopefully there should be less to go wrong.
Fingers crossed!

Gosh, that's good to hear! Mine went on the market on Monday! Congratulations, hope it all flows as smoothly as is possible with these things! Two roads diverged in a wood and I, I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference. (R. Frost) | ||

Yes, at least we won't have to keep de-commissioning the playroom everytime someone wants to view!

Good luck! Paul and I are quite surprised it all went like this so quickly. Part of me is reserving any real relief and celebration until the purchasers have paid out for a survey and so on. Still, they have no chain and we don't either so it could be done very swiftly if all goes well. 24/7 subs and slaves can and do live similar lives, it is only the concept of 'ownership' which separates them. |
