Macmillan give incredible support to cancer sufferers and their families, and it really is worth getting in touch with them and talking to someone about it who really will be able to help you. This link leads directly to their section about telling children that can be really helpful with some thoughts that may not have been thought about, at least to begin getting your own head around it all. I have contacted the child bereavement charity and they have been very helpful giving me information about books and publications and have put me in touch with some local organisations. I have also checked out the links provided. Thank you to everyone who has replied. |
