The following article was published in the Daily Mail
I'm not surprised that this has been taken completely out of context. The bloggers response is here.
Personnally I wouldn't start a fire with it, never mind wrap my chips in it.

i am eternally grateful for newspapers, they get the fire started, and i do mean that quite literally only, and they stop me having to pick dog shit up with my bare hands, bless him hes of an age now i have noticed with some of them, that it's not only the dog that has produced the shit thats in them i really don't think i can manage without, what little use i have for them though

Journalisms in a poor state, bad funded and under pressure to sex up stories for an instant sales boost Ironically it's the blogosphere that it is the forefront of real news now The first rule of Brat Club, we don't talk about Brat Club... | |

She wont sue as shes talking shit, ive enlarged the page so its readable and Lyne Burne says "Melanie........claims was forced to face a torrent of sexist abuse when she and a handfull of colleuges first broke in to a proffesion previously dominated by me. The job was only fully opened up to women 12 years ago..." Shes been publicised as someone whos blogged bad mouthing their employer, right or wrong, and could face disiplinary action. Will continue to read the article, difficult but probably deliberatly so.... Its the Irish mail on suday, also the issues are ones of copyright not journalism.. http://www.insideview.ie/irisheyes/2010/01/anoth... heres a readable copy. http://podcasting.ie/docs/mos.pdf

She has deleted her original blog. Its an issue of plaigarism not dishonest journalism(The distinction I must admit can be a mute point). I suggest you read her blog, the article in the IDM and my other link. Veritatis simplex oratio est. Seneca, Roman Statesman Ca. 65 A.D. The language of truth is simple.
