Hope begins in the dark. (4)

It started as it always does. Sudden explosive violence and feeble resistance meet. Rough hands which ignore her pleas and force her into painful, whorish acceptance, breaking her as they always do.

Face down on the hard floor; the tight leather straps viciously forcing her into strict immobility. The cold metal gag pushes her mouth open and a back handed strike fills her mouth with the metallic tang of blood.

I walk out, flicking the light switch as I leave.

How she hates the dark.

The hours pass slowly.

The sudden glare of the lights blind and confuse her. I see she has been crying, the mascara staining her cheeks black. Terrified and broken. I stand over he with the roughly cut cane in my hand.

We've always struggled with caning.

I quickly drive the cane downwards and into her immobile shoulders.

The force of the impact temporarily shocks her into silence. The scream that quickly follows defies the gag forcing her mouth open.

The sharp ridges on the cane begin to take their toll and the blood begins to trickle down her back. Sobs wrack her helpless, straining body as she attempts to tense her shoulders to lessen the impact. I hit her harder, dragging the cane across her reddened back, drawing more blood from the broken skin.

I lean down and lift her head, gently wipe the drool from her chin, it doesn't do for little girls to look unkempt.

Poor little princess.
