Yes, reading through the replies i can relate to going to the lovely place called sub-space. In our first years of play together, i used to be surprised at the way sub-space crept up on me and the sounds and pain of a hard play session just evaporated away.Leaving a sense of nothingness... Now i can recognise, the sensation of going into sub-space ~ sounds become muffled, music playing dulls, although i can distinguish Sirs voice if he speaks to me. I feel neither warm nor cold, just weightless.Safe within my sub-spacey bubble...
Thats not to say i can't be brought back with the sting from a cane or a thuddy flogger.Infact my first attempts at conversation with Sir is " Oooo Sir!!! You brought me back again!!" - grumpy aint the word !
But thats because Sir can, and in recognising my body language he pushes me further and higher - BLISS! The only thing i can liken sub-space to,is the same physical sensation of when i am in meditation at home - a * lightness* of being ( if that makes sense ?) I know i am a very lucky submissive in that Sir can read my responses so well. Sassy x You give little when you give of your possessions. It is when you give of yourself that you truly give... |

I know if I were to seek sub space I wouldn't get there so I don't think about it at all- *shrugs* if it happens it happens ... |

In answer to the OP, one of the ways you can recognise it by the way your playmate is on the floor with a large grin. Lossa others, but that's an easy to see one. Dommy_nick Licence to perve! |
