I've consulted my thesaurus and it's now official. There are no more superlatives left unused to describe our parties.
Last night was a superb party, made all the better by being Ann's birthday too. As always, the guests did us proud. We've cornered the market in wonderful guests and there's not one guest from last night who I wouldn't want back at every possible opportunity.
Our parties are most definitely play parties and the amount of play going on was brilliant, but it's good to see how people also chat between bursts of play. I love the way that people sit chatting in one of the many chilling out areas for a while, get up to play and then sit down and chat with some other people. It makes it great for everybody and it's a refreshing alternative to the cliqueyness that is so often seen elsewhere.
Martin and I spend the whole of Thursday's party and a few hours more constructing a large rope cobweb which will be there for future parties. The amount of work that went into it was absurd, but the results were very much worth it. It was given a very thorough testing when Rocco and Waking Dream were both simultaneously tied to it and provoked into some pretty severe movements. More superb equipment is in the pipeline too 
Thanks again to all the guests who came to the party last night. You were all fabulous, every one of you.

What about one of those big wheel things that peeps get tied to and turned upside down? It's not neccesarily my thing to go round and round, but for upside down play it makes life easier, and to be set just off centre or at say 30 degress can be quite scary! Rubber Roy | |

Other major items of equipment are already under construction, but I'd rather wait until it's finished rather than announce it and end up with people being disappointed that it's not ready. Much as I'd like a Catherine wheel, it's not something that I'd be inclined to have at our club. The venue is used for other events and something as attractive as a Catherine wheel might get used by people in a dangerous manner. As there won't be experienced dungeon monitors at non-BDSM events it's asking for trouble to install something like that. | |

I'd love to see a second stocks or suspension frame in one of the side rooms... but then, I'm really starting to like being flogged on both sides and not just my back/buttocks. I love playing at your parties and the social aspect is pleasant too. (Please) Don't stop! | |

The spider's web is intended to provide access to most parts of the victim's body from most directions. Admittedly flogging from the 'wrong' side of the web means that the web comes between the victim and the flogger, but there's plenty more that can be done to somebody in that position and breasts can be drawn through the holes in the web and made perfectly accessible from the other side ( depending on the individual's attributes of course ). Have you seen the "shrew's fiddles" that are sometimes around at the venue ? They have some aspects in common with stocks. We'd love to offer suspension facilities in one of the smaller rooms and have considered it carefully. The problem we face is that we cannot fix a suspension point through the ceiling, so any solution has to be free standing or wall mounted. Either way, it adds a great deal of complexity and expense. To equip and run a venue of that size and quality costs serious money and it only remains viable if the events there are well attended. If the numbers stay as healthy as they are, then modest upgrades may be possible ( one large piece of equipment is currently under construction ). If we're able to consistently attract more people then more becomes possible. | |

Why ever not ? I do things solely because I like them. My tastes may be a bit unusual by vanilla standards, but that doesn't in any way alter the fact that I do what I do because I like it. |
