It seems that there is little advertising around the Skin Two in the North so I thought I would throw the info out here. Skin Two North will run at The Loft in Leeds on 20 March 2010. The theme for this event is 'Alice in Fetishland' During the daytime there will be a Fetish Fayre held at The Mission Club in Leeds, this will be a fetish market to buy all of your last min extras. This is free for ticket holders. Performances on the night will include; Syban V, aided and abetted by Violet Eyes, Mimi Demure & Cissy P and, all the way from the US, Miss Dinah Might, all joined on the night by the very beautiful Mistress of Ceremonies, Bizarre Magazine's very own Alix Fox! The Dungeon is being run by Nemesis and the afterparty which is also included in your ticket price will be at Subculture. The afterparty will be on a first come first served basis. More details will be posted as they are finalised on the skin two website. http://www.skintwonorth.com/ I have tickets which Myself and Eric Stanton will be selling at munches across the country over the next month. The tickets that we will be selling are discounted from the website prices. If you want a ticket memo me or Eric and we will give you more details.

The market is from 12 noon until 5pm The ball starts at 8pm and goes on until 2am The after-party starts at 2am (Sunday) and ends at 6am There are other associated things going on as well and details of everything are on the website, the link for which is posted above. A million thanks for spreading the word about the Leeds Skin Two Fetish Ball!!! Our advertising was delayed by the snow - but the new edition of LateXtra is now out and available, as are our posters and flyers (thanks to the tenacity of our printers!)! We've booked some fantastic performers, organised a brilliant Fetish Market for during the day, and negotiated a late finish (3:00am) for the ball! I'm a bit concerned about this event after the disaster that was the December event down south. I am given to understand that requests for refunds because of the cancellation were refused. Have we any assurances that this won't happen again? Or a clarification at least. After attending the London ball in December all I'd say is... "STAY AWAY FROM IT LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!" There are still questions needing to be answered after the London ball by skintwo and their partners. After all who has credibility after organising a SHAMBOLIC, ILLEGAL, UN-LICENSED event. It makes me sick that someone can STILL try and trade under a brand name that was once synonymous high class pervery but is now no better that a fetish equivalent of DFS or Land of Leather... I will have to get clarification from the Skin Two Management but as far as I am aware the management of the skin Two North events is diferent to the events that are done in London. I have heard some of what happened around the London event and can only say that the event that was held in Leeds before was well organised, in a great venue in the heart of Leeds and well attended. This is a different event, and there is no reason to think that anything will go wrong as it is the same venue and management that did such a good job last time. The Skin Two name may well have suffered because of the problems in London but I think that it is unfair to be telling people not to attend a different event in a completely seperate part of the country because it share the Skin Two name.
