Those who know me, know I have had a period of considerable upheaval. The end result of a major change in my life, and all the attendant distraction that goes with it. No biggy, none o' ya business, its under control, I've got it 
During that short period I kept everything tight, took care of business, kept it all straight. (No, stop clapping, this is BACKGROUND).
But I forgot to pay my credit card til late, £17.99, minimum payment £5.00.
This months statement from my lovely chums at the Halifax included a warning, and I quote :-
"YOU HAVE FAILED TO MAKE A MINIMUM PAYMENT
Failing to make your minimum payment can mean that you have broken the terms of this credit agreement and could result in us taking legal action against you. It could lead to your having to pay additional costs and make it more difficult for you to obtain credit in future."
Is it me, or is that wording a bit fucking rich, coming from a financial institution that recklessly fucked itself into a black hole the size of which we yet cannot determine, under the leadership of a slimy little cunt who slithered off with possibly one of the largest and most ill-deserved pension payouts in uk banking history, and then had to be bailed out by you, and in fact, lets see.... umm... ME! (The aforesaid criminal defaulter)
Sheesh! If I ever run into that Howard fella, I'll shove his bottle-bottom glasses where there aint no pension..
They could at least make the wording a little less combative.
