Hey all, I'm looking to find somewhere I can get packlocks qhich are strong enough to support human weight with a decent level of tollerance (so 150kg or more) and that are keyed alike. Just like the small padlocks you can get for restraints that are keyed alike. But much bigger and stronger. Any ideas? Regards FH

Hmmm try the pound store...as random as that sounds they sell sets of padlocks and invariably they appear to be keyed the same.

Padlocks are not designed to carry that sort of weight - why would you need a padlock rather than a schackle or carabiner? Just curious ya know?

Do you want to lock chain onto itself to make a loop that's completed with the padlock? If you use self-looping chain, you can avoid that. That is, chain where the end link it narrow enough to fit through one of the previous links sideways. That means you can use the padlock to stop the end link slipping back out, but there is no force on the padlock itself, just across the thickness of the padlock's shackle. Regards, Tanos
