Apologies in advance for complete lack of BDSM-related post.
Although yarn is really just very, very thin rope I guess...
Anyway. Any knitters on IC? Got any exciting projects on the go?
I'm a new knitting convert - just interested in what others are up to ![]()

I started a scarf around 2 years ago. I've done about 8 rows. I feel very proud. It's fluffy and turquoise. What are you knitting? mia, x "Passion should believe itself irresistible. Sadly, perhaps IC's most fascinating and dedicated knitter, Syndee, has left us for pastures new. http://www.informedconsent.co.uk/posts/245681/0

Aww, those witchy socks look brill!
I'm knitting a scarf at the moment, but I've just bought the necessary bits and bobs to make a start on my very first pair of socks Outside of a dog, a book is a man's best friend. Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read. ~ Groucho Marx

I've just finished a hat. What I really fancy having a go at is knitting with wire to make jewellery. Does anyone on here do that? An evil person is like a dirty window, they never let the light shine through.

haven't tried it personally but don't see why you couldn't knit with anything you want as long as it doesn't tear skin from fingers. Have been knitting all my life so if anyone wants any advice will be happy to oblige

You're the fifth person I know to mention knitting in the last 24 hours. Am I out the loop of some new social phenomenon?

I see what you did there I'm not sure. I know a few people who've taken it up recently too when I said I was knitting. Knitting is sexy. And thanks cuddlybeth - that's really kind. I learnt the basics from my mum, but am learning from books and videos, so if I get lost at any point, I'll give you a shout! Outside of a dog, a book is a man's best friend.
