I have a theory. A huge number of threads on IC are dedicated to the numbers of stupid people here who cause misery on a daily basis. Equally we have a large number of threads about how to do dangerous forms of play in safety r what to avoid entirely.

So here's my theory; nobody talks about safety any more, indeed we take it further and have threads extolling the virtues of solo breathplay and other lethal jollies. Within maybe six months or so I believe the number of idiot-related problems on IC will decline.

If you want the lemmings to jump, you've got to show them the cliff.

Whatcha reckon?

I have to agree, mention safety these days and you become the enemy, the thought police, the kill joy, when all you are trying to do is to talk some sense.

Third that. Some people are too stupid to deserve to live.

"I'm not saying there should be capital punishment for stupidity, but can't we just take the safety labels off everything and let the problem solve itself?"

Could we have an IC Darwin Awards?

I always behave. I just don't specify how.

I think it'd be hard to set up. You'd have to have people post what they were going to try first, then presume if they failed to report back within a given timeframe they'd come a cropper.

If you can keep your head while all about you are losing theirs and blaming it on you, you might want to stop waving that axe around.

And you'd look a bit daft if it turned out they had been kidnapped by aliens instead. But I was thinking more along the lines of waiting for one of those wastes of paper like the sun or mail to post the story of their exiting of the gene pool and then just having a post with links to them, and seeing who was the most creative.
