Seperateness is an illusion. Now, go to bed, let the pigeons on your windowsill get some rest from the constant tap tap tapping of your keyboard. I was just adding a note to the empowering music of my Sister. I can't help singing along with her, or just humming, even if I am sometimes out of tune. She don't mind. PS thanks for the kind comments and glad a few people got something from reading it. I think in a lot of ways it's stating the obvious.. but it does us all good to remind each other of the obvious sometimes, for affirmation. Some of the readers of this piece thought it was about being disabled.. some of them thought it was about having an alternative sexuality or orientation... some of them, knowing it was written for my friend who has recently come out, thought it was about being trans... It is just about being human. For in all the biggest most important matters, we're all pretty much the same.. which is the whole point. Every one of us is different to the other, in many tiny ways.. but overall the differences are as hard to see as looking at a general group of any other species.. (eg a herd of cows) they can just about be told apart. Dennis Sign up to CAAN's statement www.caan.org.uk Edited 16 Jan 10, 12:58 PM by Degenerate |
