After receiving the best phone call ever this morning; "Don't come into work, the snow is too bad."
So I am up and dressed and my house is pretty tidy and all my work is sorted for work and I'm home alone... It's a bit of a shame I didn't find out yesterday, as I could have stayed in Manchester, curled up in bed and squeeing. But this day is really mine now. Even normal days off work aren't this good as I always have 101 things to do.
Please feel free to suggest what to do with my day. Failing that, please feel free to leave jealous comments about how unfair life is; it'll make me feel even smugger.
mia, x

Yeah, it is very odd. It's not really snowed much here since then either. I drove back from Manchester to Leeds last night and the roads weren't too bad.
I love my lazy boss... My bed is so warm x "Passion should believe itself irresistible. It should forget civility and consideration and all the other curses of a refined nature. Above all, it should never ask for leave where there is a right of way." | |

Nope - I instead went to the White Rose Centre and did some shopping I cannot afford to do and possibly got a ticket (going through reds, by accident) which I cannot afford to pay. Whoops. Pay day next week though, so it's good mia, x "Passion should believe itself irresistible. It should forget civility and consideration and all the other curses of a refined nature.
