I don't think there is one for "unusual places" but there are terms for certain kinds of places and situations. Don't know of an actual term... However, casting my mind back to my Greek lessons.... "topos" is the Greek word for a place, and "philia" (or a related word) is normally added to mean a fondness for (whatever). Hence words such as "philo-sophy" or "toxo-phily". So, with that in mind, I thought the word for the love of a place must be "topophilia" - and lo and behold, it exists. However, this word is too "neutral" - it can mean, for example, the love of a football fan for his club's home ground. Therefore, we need to add the sexual element. And with that in mind, I propose the word.... Erototopophilia. OED - I expect royalties. English | |

No I do not think it has a special name, although it is rather frequent, as far as I know. The only generally known name of a cultural phenomena which instantly springs to my mind is the notorious "Ten Mile High Club", i.e. sex in airliners. Dates back from the sixties... | |

I think Rainbowlover has hit it on head with this one. "Unusual" is too vague a term to be useful in a fetish, which is usually very specific. Perhaps you could define what makes a place "unusual", as people will fuck just about anywhere. The only thing we have to fear is fear itself. |
