is it normal for a kitten to;
pad and purr whilst slobbering down your neck like some kind of 13yr old boy?
i am getting sick of washing cat spit out of my hair...

yes it's normal -the padding is the way they stimulate
their mother's milk | |

'Friad so. And depending on the cat they may not grow out of it (not unlike some boys I have 3, all of the same litter, and they are now about 18 months old, one of them still jumps up, heads straight for my neck and wants to wrap himself around there to go to sleep, dribbling whilst doing so.
It can be quite offputting A sweet disorder in the dress, kindles in clothes a wantonness...

drooling like that is a sign of happiness in cats and kittens, my wee one still slavers all over me and she's 18 months now.

One of mine still does that and she is 4 years old!
It will make a pleasant change for you to wash cat spit out of your hair. I gather there are far stickier fluids that land in your hair on a regular basis

My rather large tabby did that all his 13 years, he used to nibble my earlobe and try to tuck himself into my nape and shoulder like he did when he was tiny. Paddying was a challenge due to his size and he used to slide off at times. Enjoy...... What is a Caracal? Edited 9 Jan 10, 4:06 PM by Caracal

Bathroom sinks ... endless hours of joy for cats and kittens alike. Also an item for sleeping in in the summer ... difficult to remove cat .. even when turning on tap. |
