Wow what a read. So going back to your original post about prices. I think that it all depends on the PD's experience for sure. But then again you might get a young Mistress who's in her 20's and be very experienced. Though I find this disturbing as well. I have been in the scene since my 20's but started professionally in my mid 30's. I have been told I look 25, which I can assure you I'm not. So are potential clients looking at my photos and deciding whether or not I'm experienced enough because I look so much younger than what I really am? I think it all comes down to how you present yourself and advertise your websites. I do think that there are so many young women with very little experience and very flashy and professional looking websites and it's a shame that so many men fall for it. They realise after they see the Mistress that she is not what she makes herself out to be, and that's her problem. If she is smart enough she will realise this. But if she's just after a quick buck/pound then so be it. I think what is important to the client is whether or not he fills comfortable talking to you over the phone and how well you both can communicate. But then again you can't always tell over the phone that's for sure. Now, to compare a car to a PD is a funny thing. I mean please really? But if you must. I'm not sure which car I would be. As long as the body is rust free with a good paint job. Good interior that smells of leather. A good set of mag wheels and a Jaguar engine. Then I'm happy.

I wish dearly that people would stop regurgitating Strunk & White as though they know what they are talking about. Starting sentences with and is a perfectly correct grammatical construct in English; And it's been commonly used in written English since the emergence of Middle English (see also splitting infinitives and ending sentences with prepositions).

I doubt any contemporary style guides prohibit starting sentences with and and trying to enforce a style guide's choices as actual rules of grammar is plain stupid.
