arrr yes i just remembered why i post on the pro domme board - to discuss economic theorys.
the price off any product will depend upon the cost of the product to bring to sale and the price that the consumer is willing to pay.
the price a consumer is willing to pay will depend upon the supply off the product and similar products in competetion with the product compared to the demand for the product or similar product.
lets give an example to support my theory
a ford focus
make many units a year and keep production costs down - big supply, lots of competion in the market place, demand is generally not to high.
a BMW 3 series
again mass produceded large numbers but are more expensive produce. - larger demand though means a higher price tag
a bugatti veyron
made in small numbers and has a much higher demand plus a lot higher production cost hence prices are high.
now lets apply that theory to the situation
profesional dominatrixes costs will not vary hugely depending on how they look. The demand on the other hand will probably be influenced.
combine this with the theory of price elasticity of demand and it would implies that the better looking the person in question the more they could charge whilst still attracting the same number of clients.
