Love me because i know all the words to the Aristocats….no, not just “Everybody wants to be a cat”….i mean the whole film….
Love me because i cry at every happy (or sad) ending even when i've seen the film countless times…..
Love me because i can't bear injustice and will try to argue against it even if i'm physically shaking with fear at the confrontation…..
Love me because i can get ready to go out in less than ten minutes….
Love me because i'll wake early just to wash, clean my teeth and put fresh make-up on so that i'll look pretty for when You wake up….
Love me because i can not walk past a playground without wanting a push on the swings….
Love me because i will apologise to the Taxi Driver for standing too near the kerb when He drenches me from the puddle….
Love me because i will withdraw into myself rather than raise my voice to tell You how much You're hurting me…
Love me because i will deny myself pleasure when i am alone….and hunger for Yours when i am with You…
Love me because i can not understand why Others like me….
Love me because i'll offer to help a Stranger across the road even though it's in the opposite direction to where i'm going….
Love me because however much i hurt….i will never be a “victim”…..
Love me because i'm happy to kneel on the floor in a crowded pub to serve You Your glass of wine….but i'm too shy to ask for an unchipped glass!!
Love me because i can manage alone but my life is enriched when i do not have to….
Love me because i have a genteel pride that can be accepted within any society…….yet if You space me i will become utterly feral…
Love me because i take pride in my work
Love me because i still have to bash the boiled egg shell with my spoon so that the witches don't get me….(Nana told me so!)
Love me because i will writhe and scream beneath the pain You give me….but will always beg for more….
Love me because i fear the overwhelming feelings that i crave….
Love me because my femininity only feeds Your masculine pride…
Love me because i routinely apologise to my towel for dripping on it from the shower….
Love me because i can not bear You to see me naked when W/we make love….but i love taking baths with You……
Love me because i watched Jesus Christ Superstar….and cried ….because i wasn't expecting the ending!!!!
Love me because i am the same as everyone else….and unique…
Love me because i'll never ask You for anything……and You'll hate that…..
Love me because it is impossible for me to accept a compliment as true…..
Love me because even the slightest criticism i'll accept as absolute gospel……and never forget….
