Quick Question on Electro Play (36)

I've been perusing on ebay and found some great offers on tens machines - I know cheap and cheerful won't last long etc etc, but it's really something to keep me going until I can get my own E-Stim.

So the question is, how do the two compare, if at all?

Good tens units come from Boots chemists tell them its for backpain. When my sub fell and landed on a concrete spike with his kidneys he spent fours on full max power on one of those in hospital.

But the rolls royce of shock boxes is the Estim well worth ecanomising and saving up to purchase. Just buy the box and leads and metal pads. All you need to know is do not switch on until everything is connected and you have turned the controls to zero. Then switch off, set controls to zero ready for next time. Never touch the pads or electrodes upon each other and happy arc and sparking

Thanks, although it wasn't a second hand one - that said, my Dad is a qualified medical equipment engineer, so I could always chuck it his way and motion towards me sore back!!!

Estim is definitely on the to buy list, but lets hold off and see what the New Year brings job wise, before I go blowing a few hundred of my savings on something I don't *really* need...

If it is pain relief you are after the TENS machine is fine. But if it is erotic stimulation to want then the E-Stim is the thing to have. With a bit of experimenting with the various electrodes and settings the effects can be OMG in spades!

Comparing a TENS machine to an E-Stim is like trying to win the British Grand Prix in a Ford Fiesta!

It's better than Estim boxes and it's better than TENS.

I graduated to an Erostek 312 this year but still have this trusty box on standby for when I want to use more than two electrodes.

I was going to purchase an Estim box of my own but after a couple of friends on IC suggested I try a violet wand again, and recently playing with one, I'm convinced I will get a wand this spring!

I'd suggest trying both before making a purchase decision.

How much control do you get over the output? Do you get fine control over the level and/or frequency?

Joking I am. I'm not really a giant.

I was kindly shown both, violet wand was fun, but not a patch on the estim for me. Interesting how we all differ so much!
