Adios to 2009. I'm giving it a 9 out of 10.
We went to Egypt, Philadelphia, Barcelona and Belgium. Not bad at all!
I did the Adidas 5k Challenge and we climbed England's highest mountain. We did the Tour de Britain, and boo has won more with his cycling - leopard powah! I love cheering him on and seeing him win!
We've been to parties, both public and private, events, fetish fairs munches et al. We've built new friendships and cemented old ones.
I learned to sail, canoe, kayak and teach English as a foreign language.
Boo has expanded his TA and work world a lot. I've used the times he's been away to improve both myself and our home. I missed him lots, but I managed. I praise modern technology, and the fact that you can talk to someone a gazillion miles away and in a different time zone. Practice for tough times to come.
We've adventured and enjoyed new experiences together, sexual, emotional and cultural - book launches, museums, galleries and theatre trips.
We've separated - and decided we don't ever want to be without each other. Slushy, but who cares!
Work has been a great success.
I lost 2.5 stone!! And got a lil fitter in the process :
Things have gotten better and better, and continue to do so. Next year, a trip to Oz, maybe a new house and I'm sure, lots of fun and excitement and all sorts. Call me a fool, but I'm full of hope and optimism!
We are spending New year's Eve at home, having a party with friends. Looking forward to it!!

R.I.P Gizmo, most beloved pet and companion of 7 years who dies on Christmas Eve and is very very missed.

Is that ALL you've done? I'm sure there was more than that - like, you know, being an absolute brick (double-check for typo. Ed.) for me and schlepping all the way across London to visit me every month no matter what was going on in P-World. I'll be raising a cup of cappus...kapuch...frothy coffee to you and yours at midnight (if I'm still awake), and looking forward to happier, healthier and wealthier times for everyone next year.
