I have no blood in My left arm.

I was at the hospital yesterday for pre op examination, and the nurse said she needed a blood sample.

What the hell, Thay have taken more blood for tests than I actually thought I had over the past few weeks.

So. The nurse stuck the needle in the vein on my left arm, as they always do, and tried to pump the blood out.

I say TRIED.for five minutes she tried.

She told me she was definitely in the vein, but nothing, and I do mean nothing, was coming out.

in the end, she decided to try My right arm, and lo and behold, more than enough blood for what she needed.

So what the hell happened to my left arm?

Its still there, and still works fine. but what the hell happened to the blood? lol

I did suggest she had missed the vein, but she promised me that she hadnt missed it. got it dead centre she said.

so it's official now. I have no blood in my left arm.

shame really, thats my spanking hand. lmao

30 Dec 09, 8:58 PM CPeccavi 3 yrs	Arrrghhhh it can be the sign of Anxillary Stagnantitis which affects one arm to the extent that one has to keep both arms pinned to the sides at all times (otherwise it spreads) for five and a half months. You should be ok to swing both arms by .... um .... around April 10th. I think everyone should like everybody ..... Andy Warhol
