Juat curious to see how it effects others. For me (not that I get it these days BOO HOO), it was a BRILLIANT way of making me take even more pain. You end up controlling yourself, thinking about how to conserve air and breathing in a more controlled way. In the meantime your domme is inflicting greater and greater pain but you just don't care about that pain anymore. You become more passive to it. Both a sadists and a masochist's dream.

I am still very new to this sort of edge play although I have played around with breath play in general on and off and found myself intrigued to experience it within a body of water and last night my wish came true rather unexpectedly when I had my first breath play in water ( although only in the confines of the bathtub ) and it was .... wow utterly mind blowing to say the least I am still on a high. | |

It has been really good to read the posts on this thread, as it is an area that i would really like to be allowed to explore in the future, if Mistress feels it appropriate. i have been in service to my Mistress for 11 years in January, so i think we know each other well for this kind of edge play.

How are you defining breath play? The way I've played is to have someone put gradually increased pressure on my neck (being careful not to crush anything). This for me has been an exercise of trust, and I haven't gotten a huge thrill from the loss of oxygen. But I've seen people play with a rubber mask that restricts the intake of air. Is this what some people are describing? I spent 9 years in the military, much of it seems wearing a gas mask. I know how it makes you focus on your breathing, and can imagine how it would impact on your perception of pain play. Pen You say Ouch like it's a bad word. | |
