This is a piece of music which has a certain resonance for me.

I haven't heard it for years, and I asked for it as a Christmas present.

It surfaces in my subconscious every now and again as a signal to me from my subconscious.

Listening to it just now in the only way it should be listened to... at considerable volume.

Yep, a truly great piece of music.

It's just a shame that so many recordings of it are either compressed to hell or overloaded and distorted.
