"Top" rated photos on IC / male submission photos? (95)

If there aren't enough pictures of what you like then you need to do something about that. I do the bondage that I like on girls that I like and upload photos that I like of my work. It's the kind of stuff I'd vote for too.

If you want a certain type of pic and they're not on here then create them.

Thing is, the pictures I like (ie men in sub or not positions) are on here. I just want a top pictures area just for them, cause either way you look at it on here they are a niche.

Not to shit on your strawberries or anything but I think I can confidently predict that you wont get a special top pictures area for things that aren't top pictures.

Amongst other things it would require the ability to categorise every image on the site. That would require changes to the way that the site works which, I think are unlikely for this purpose.

Also once you start down this road if you have a niche 'top pictures' section for one niche then why not for something or anything else that you can think of.

I would like a special section for rope bondage using hemp rope, one for rope bondage using jute rope and one for rope bondage using either jute or hemp but that bondage has been done by english men over 6 feet tall with models shorter than 5'6" and less than 30 years of age!

Oh and split those into two sub sections for mono and colour pictures.

Yes I'm exaggerating for effect but honestly I don't think you're on a winner with that idea.

It's actually something admin considered (or said so) when starting the top pictures in the first place.

And yes bondage was one of the possibilities.

It would simply involve a little tick box as to the subject and content of the picture. (or as many as you like)

If you wanted to fill a couple of the more popular niches that's fine but I think "men" is a little more valid than "bondage done with a specific type of rope"

Just as a matter of interest, where on here have you found any photos of guys showing their cock and balls hanging out? It's against the rules for including pics on profiles - sadly!!

Suggests a few logical reasons:

1. More straight men, fired by their sexuality, will rate a female pic higher. 2. Women, straight or gay, are more likely to rate a female pic than a straight man will rate a male pic. Conditioning and/or insecurity in their own sexuality? 3. Conditioning, again, in our modern but still judgemental society, has dictated that the female body is more attractive. Too many will blindly follow that concept without taking the time to seriously question it.

On a totally personal level, I find the male body infinitely more attractive in it's shape, proportions, musculature and the essence of strength radiating from it.

Now there's a comment to set off a few arguments!

But with all the praise on here of the female body, I want to set the record straight(!) and add a bit of equality to the discussion.....

I myself don't vote on the pictures found here.

C'mon, people, redress the balance. The only true ugliness is the ugliness of prejudice, so stop this discriminatory nonsense. Some people can't help being lazy and grotesque.

You can segment the Top list into different subjects and genres as much as you like; but as everyone who rates pics here will know, good pics of Dommes with subs are rare. Indeed pics of Dommes with subs of any quality are rare. That segment would therefore remain empty or populated by mediocre work, which is only rated as Top because it has no real competition.

So it does come back to what WykD_Dave and others have said: the way to get different genres more strongly represented in the Top list is to get to work and take (or model for) the photographs you want to see in the Top list. The more images in any genre are submitted, the more likely they are to make it into the list.

At the same time, it's important to remember what the B in BDSM stands for! We bondage photographers aren't a bunch of obsessives who've somehow managed to force a minority interest to the top of the List - we represent a major element of the mainstream of WIITWD.
